The Starfish and the Spider – The unstoppable power of leaderless organisations
This is a great read discussing the sweet spot between centralisation and decentralisation with live examples like ebay, itunes, google, yahoo, GM, toyota, apache, emule, napster, kazar , Alcoholics Anonymous and last but not least Al Qaeda. The writers go in great details and depth to make these stories come live and stick. The stories are “Made to Stick”. So many inspiring stories wait to be unearthed in your daily life and create new meaning to your everyday existence.

A novel about the current Indian social and political system (just before the economic crash down due to the effects of subprime crisis) centred around an entrepreneur who rise from his village beginnings to be a part of the economic propulsion based in Banglore providing services to the call centre industry. Tribes – Seth Godin
Tribes – We need you to lead us
This is a book about heretics who challenges the status quo, who creates tribes within tribes for they feel the need to change, need for an outlet for their visceral cravings and create a dent in the universe. This is about the ability of each of one of us to change the world, to awaken the heretic within our selves, to be the change we want to be and enlist true believers and continue to inspire them to make that change happen. It is about the inability of people to see the future, it is about embracing the unknown with that vision to make things happen, to drive into the darkness with a huge amount of faith in yourself and sticking with it till you see the light. It is about the present and the future of authentic marketing by turning your customers into followers and tribe members so that they become your living billboards
